Getting Started

The first and most important part is the Induction. This is where you agree your goals, write them down and commit to an exercise regime. Research shows that people who write down their goals are more likely to achieve them. Our team of fitness consultants are trained to take you through this crucial first step and then to tailor your programme to achieve your goals. 

  • Induction
  • Tailored exercise programme
  • Complimentary personal training session (optional)
  • Programme review (after 6 weeks)

So far so good but what happens when you hit the boredom threshold? Did you know that if you can get habituated to using the club once per week for the first 12 weeks then you will probably stick to the programme?

Keeping Going

The fitness team are monitoring your usage for these crucial first few weeks. If at 6 weeks you have hit a minimum once per week (each week!) then a Well Done email is heading your way. 

If you struggle to hit this visit frequency for the first 6 weeks the fitness team will call to discuss the barriers to your exercise programme and see whether they can be overcome. At 9 weeks the team will call you once again if you still appear to be struggling to hit once per week – remember this frequency is crucial to your achievement of your goals.

  • 6 week Well Done email or Motivational call
  • 9 week Motivational call for those not on once per week visit frequency
  • 12 week service call to check how you are enjoying your membership

In addition the fitness team are trained to get out on the gym floor and talk to exercising members to check how they are managing with their programmes and offering additional instruction on things like Power Plate® or TRX Training System.
